The Arc owns and operates two residential care homes in Boise serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Eight residents can reside in each home. These homes truly have the comforts and feelings of "home."
Our Celany home affords the opportunity for residents to live in individual studio apartments. Residents cook their own meals and are responsible for the upkeep of their apartment. At Hettinger, each individual has his or her own bedroom, and all residents enjoy spending time together in the common areas watching television, eating meals, reading, or doing hobbies. Staff members are available at all times at both homes.
Residents are also offered many opportunities to participate in recreational and leisure activities. They can attend activities such as dances, art classes, go on vacations, plays and other cultural events. They may also participant in The Arc's RAVE program, if desired.
